The Home/Ocean structure is a house on one side and a sailing ship on the other. The ship invites sailors to seek far away lands and the home offers welcome shelter and protection after a long trip at sea.
Children can look out at the world through the ship's port holes or through the curtained windows of the home. Inside the home, the small bench invites friends to come in for a chat or offers a counter for constructive play. The ground level space has room for both cabin and kitchen, and the little space under the climbing wall offers a hiding place from the pirates and to keep watch through the small peep holes.
Children can climb through the larger holes using all their body. These types of moves will encourage flexibility, the development of their planning abilities along with an understanding of their growing bodies in relation to space.
The play panel, the porthole look outs and the play switcher will captivate children and encourage them to experiment.
