BALANCING
TRAINING
Balance Beams train you in keeping your balance while planning your next movement to cross the beam as soon as possible- without falling off. Children have to learn to coordinate their movements and when they manage to cross the first beam well, they can try to start jumping from one beam to the other or balance with a foot on each beam. In this case, the coordination skills are trained more thoroughly because you have to plan your movement even better to be able to jump from one beam to the other without falling off. Children can also sit on one beam and put their feet under the other beam to train their abdominal muscles.
