TRAINING
Children have to jump over the unequal hurdles as fast as they can. Children have to adjust their movements from jumping higher to jumping lower so this asks for careful planning and coordination, otherwise children will fall. Bodies have to be adapted to the changing situation of higher and lower hurdles. The hurdles can also be used for somersaulting, which trains posture and the sense of balance. Children learn to have endurance while trying to increase the amount of somersaults they can do, e.g. as part of a competition game between children.
